OUR TREASURE: CULTURAL HERITAGE
The cultural heritage is a treasure, because it inspires us to create and launch new ideas. Each generation learns from what has been achieved and invented by its predecessors and helps it come to new creative achievements. For example the idea about the theatre occurred in Ancient Greece – the Greek theatre was in the open, with seats, situated along the slope of a hill in a semicircle around the stage. The Romans took the Greek experience, yet they brought into existence new ideas: they were building the theatres at a flat place, with some premises under the seats and a stage, which served for scenery. In the Middle Ages temporary theatre places were constructed at the squares, while at the end of 17th century construction of covered theatre buildings was started. And you are pretty well familiar with these buildings. In such a way the people use the centuries old achievements and enrich them by new ideas.
