The heritage is a gift from the past that reveals the extreme richness and diversity on our planet. In the middle of the 20th century people came to the conclusion that the heritage existing in their land is a heritage of the whole mankind, and that it can be maintained by common united efforts of all nations. So the idea about the World heritage came to life. It reflects the desire of all countries to preserve their most valuable treasures and hand them down to the future generations. Therefore the countries have adopted in 1972 an important international document, namely “Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage” of the international organization UNESCO.
