And now we reach the 20th century. One of the last trends in arts – the Modernism came to light. The authors tried hard to go beyond the frame of past periods. Some of them succeeded to lay the foundations of new building technique in functional and rational construction. The concrete entered the stage. Other creative authors intentionally adopted the national and regional traditions, thus developing historic continuity. This gave solid boost to imagination.
