TRADITIONAL HOUSE
Most often the rooms in the traditional house occupy the second, living floor. While the ground floor, usually built of stone, hosts the cellar. Outside the houses are covered by plaster, quite often of different colours. The wooden material is much used in the traditional architecture. It is typical for the outer appearance of the traditional houses to enjoy many protruded sections, called bay-windows. They, as well as the roof eaves are supported by sloped wooden supporting struts. The roofs are tiled or stone slabbed.
