The Modern Time came: time of scientific achievements, during which new continents were found, the time of kings and queens, of great artists, composers and prominent singers; time of building numerous palaces, parks, and churches. The Baroque style, from 16th to 18th century, encompassed in itself all human knowledge, and reflected the diversity of life and its dynamics. Its architectural forms were grouped and always structured around one key element. For the baroque cathedrals most frequently the key element was the dome.
