During my travel I came across churches with large domes. They are called domed churches. I noticed that the inner space of this type of religious buildings resembled much that of the basilicas. The major distinguishing element is the dome. It is used to cover partially or fully the main area of the temple. The dome has the shape of a hemisphere, covering part of the naos. The temples may have more than one dome. In the Christian religion the dome is a symbol of the heavens’ vault.
Now why don’t you try to put in place the elements of St. Sophia in Ohrid, by visiting the Funfair?
