ABOUT THE TREASURE
The Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Nicolas was built in 1534 as a gift from Duke Radoje Hrabren (from the Miloradovich–Hrabren family). The church went out of use in 1815, but was restored in the mid-19th century. Although it is modest, the architecture of the church has a typical medieval design and reproduces the building traditions of Rasha (Old Serbia). The Church of Saint Nicolas in Trijebanj is similar to those in Gorazhde, Smokovac and Schepan Polje.
