ABOUT THE TREASURE
This architectural ensemble is situated in the hamlet Bijela, at the lowest slopes of Majevica mountain. It is composed of a fortified tower, summer kitchen, 2 wells and the courtyard walls. Despite of the lack of available sources on who built the tower, there are grounds to believe that it was built by Osman pasha Gradashcvich by the end of 18th or the beginning of 19th century. The tower belongs to the specific type of residential buildings–fortresses from that period of time. The first three floors of the building with loopholes in the walls had defence functions. The fourth and fifth floors had residential functions. The living quarters were separated with special doors from the rest of the building.
