Here is one of the most remarkable city ensembles in Transylvania. The buildings belong to different periods - there are both Gothic and Renaissance ones. What is more, the two styles are even combined in one and the same building - the Evangelical Parish Church. It was constructed in the 14th century but in the 16th century Renaissance ornaments and a Renaissance portal were added to it. There are a number of houses in the Gothic and the Renaissance style dating from the 15th and the 16th century.
