National Park Kornati
You've found a treasure! Have a look!
ABOUT THE TREASURE
The Kornati National Park covers a string of 89 islands, islets and cliffs stretching for approximately 238 kilometres along the Adriatic coast. With vertical cliffs rising high above the shores, the majority of islands may look bleak and forbidding at first sight. These cliffs, called ‘crowns’, have become a symbol of Kornati. In addition to an amazing landscape, Kornati has a dazzling array of underwater wildlife and a fascinating sea floor. The islands are also rich in historical and architectural sites which testify to human presence since the Neolithic: stone walls, small churches, stone dwellings, salt works, and other sites.
