What: House, Ensemble, Vernacular architecture sites
Where: Slovenia, Ljubno ob Savini, Sava region
When: 20-th Century

The kozolec is a wooden building used by people for centuries for drying hay and other seeds. You can see it on the lush meadows across Slovenia. You will be impressed with the original design of the double kozolec, called toplar. They are larger and richly decorated. The ancient tradition of building wooden dry houses for hay has been handed down from generation to generation for more than six centuries.
In Slovenia you will often see old barns, buildings in which grain is stored. There are such in Primo?, Podter, Juvanje, Radmirjie and many other small villages.
