ABOUT THE TREASURE

What:
Where: Turkey, Ankara
When: Prehistory

The Anatolian Civilizations Museum is located in Ankara. The Museum occupies two buildings, which have been altered to suit their new role. One of them is the Mahmut Pasha Bedesten and the other is the Kurshunlu Han.
There are exhibits from Prehistory to Modern times in the museum.
Maybe the most precious exhibition in the museum is the one, presenting objects from Alacahoyuk - advanced settlement area in Anatolia from this period.
Most of them are things, necessary for the people in their life after death. The objects are made of gold, silver, bronze and most of them are jewels such as diadems, necklaces, hairpins and so on.
Here I want to show you part of the treasures, found in Alacahoyuk.
